Your files
Every converter on this site processes files locally in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Files you select are never transmitted to, stored on, or readable by any server operated by this site. You can verify this at any time: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab, and convert a file — no upload request appears. Conversion results exist only in your browser's memory and disappear when you close or reload the page.
Data we do not collect
No accounts, no sign-ups, and no fingerprinting. Fonts are self-hosted, so no font provider sees your visit.
Analytics (opt-in only)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are used and whether conversions succeed — but only if you explicitly allow it. Until you click "Allow analytics" in the consent banner, no request of any kind is sent to Google (the measurement script is not even downloaded — verifiable in your network tab). If you decline, the site works identically.
When allowed, we record these events: page views, conversion started / succeeded / failed, and result downloaded. Each event carries only: the tool's name (e.g. heic-to-jpg), the engine and output format, a coarse duration bucket, a coarse batch-size bucket, and — for failures — a normalized error code such as decode_failed. Never collected: file names, file contents, file sizes, metadata, anything you type into a tool, or raw error messages. Google Analytics sets _ga cookies to distinguish visits; Google's handling is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Event data is retained for 2 months; Google Signals, ads personalization and User-ID are disabled.
Withdrawing consent: use "Privacy settings" in the footer at any time — measurement stops immediately and the _ga cookies are deleted. Cloudflare's cookie-less performance beacon (below) remains the baseline measurement and is unrelated to Google Analytics.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and provides us aggregate, cookie-free traffic statistics via a lightweight beacon (a request to /cdn-cgi/rum carrying the page URL and load-timing metrics — no file names, file contents or file sizes; you can inspect the payload yourself). Cloudflare's handling of that data is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Advertising
If advertising (such as Google AdSense) is enabled on some pages in the future, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads; you can review how Google uses advertising data and opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Ad scripts will never be given access to the files you convert.
